I'm a little behind on my normal blogging time, it's been a bit crazy for me this morning. I got up at my normal time (5:30) stepped onto the scale and.....I lost another 1.5 pounds... YAY ME! I was very excited about that! My first day on the VLC diet I lost 4.5 pounds, on day 2 of the VLC diet I lost 5 pounds, I knew there was absolutely NO WAY I could/would continue to keep losing that much weight each morning, simply because if I were to keep losing like that, I would only weigh about 80 pounds at the end of my 40 day of HCG! (lol) But.... I'm was just as happy with the 1.5 pounds lost as I was to see both the 4.5 and the 5 pound loss the past 2 days. This makes my total weight loss of 11 pounds in 4 days. Heck yeah, I'm very pleased with that! I'm going to have and keep the attitude that anything is better then a stall, or gain! Even if I do happen to have a stall, especially when my TOM approaches, I'm NOT going to get all worked up over it, especially when I know whole hearted it's not a stall that is due to any type of cheat, If I'm following this diet to a T and drinking all my water, it will have to work itself out in a matter of time, I'm going to keep my chin up and know I'm doing everything right, and know that it will pass. Altho I will say I hope I don't have too many stalls, I'd just settle for a half of pound vs a stall, I'm sure all of you can totally agree! As you know if you read my blog from Yesterday, it was my daughter's 21st birthday, we had a Labor day cookout, along with cake and ice-cream , and you know.... it wasn't as bad as I truly thought it would be! I stayed indoors while the bar BQ chicken was out on the grill, because I knew how yummy that would smell, even though the windows on the house were all open due to the beautiful cool day we had, I could still smell the grill, (Oh how yummy it smelled!) so that was a little hard, then when my son-in-law brought in the bar BQ chicken oh that was pretty tough too, because the entire house smelled like grilled food. But...I MADE IT! The next hard time was when I took the lid off the birthday cake, Oh man, did my mouth ever water....I just stood there smelling the inside lid of the cake and imagining I was eating a slice while I was smelling it, but.... then I was thinking about all the fat and calories it that cake, and....I was perfectly fine, and never thought another thing about that cake, nor did I even think I wanted a slice! I truly believe that phase 2 of this diet is a lot of MIND over MATTER!!!!!!!!!!! So, I'm proud to say.... I did NOT have even the teeniest tiniest cheat Yesterday! I must say my determination runs deep! I will be posting my lunch photo soon, so until then.....Have a Terrific Tuesday!

That is great on the weight loss. You can do it. I am at a stall now but I am pushing thru and sticking to the diet. Even made another yummy recipe which I will share tomorrow.
